Soil Health: Measuring and Managing

January 11, 2021 @ 9:00 am - January 14, 2021 @ 11:00 am

The WSU Farmers Network soils education program works to support producers and ag professionals by offering high-quality and relevant content. This winter, the workshops have all moved online.

Even if offered in a different format, the WSU Farmers Network has been working to bring another year of excellent speakers together to discuss important soil health topics. This year will feature testing metrics for soil health, carbon cycling, soil health for pathogen and pest suppression, stress and mental health for farmworkers, and the impact of glyphosate on the microbiome.

Our team is excited that this year’s information will not be limited by cost or geographic boundaries with content that should be relevant to anyone interested in soils in the inland PNW. The live event will be offered at no cost via Zoom from 9-11 am PST on Jan 11-14, with recorded sessions to be offered through our continuing education platform for CCA credit following the event for a small fee. For more information and to register for the live events, please visit the WSU Farmers Network Webinar page and stay tuned as we roll out the final agenda for our upcoming Decision Making Using On-Farm Data to be offered February 8-11.
