Herbicide Resistance: Implications for Weed Management in Wheat
Herbicide resistance is an increasing problem in agriculture. I will discuss how herbicide resistance evolves, where we stand in terms of herbicide-resistant weeds in the Pacific Northwest, and how integrated weed management strategies can be used to delay the development of herbicide resistance. I will wrap-up the presentation with an example of an integrated weed management approach for Italian ryegrass in a wheat-based cropping system.
