WSU Traveling Wheat Academy–Walla Walla

You are invited to attend the Traveling WSU Wheat Academy in Walla Walla on Friday, January 24, 2025. 

This one-day seminar will run 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Water & Environmental Center on the Walla Walla Community College campus. The event is free with lunch included. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

This year’s presentations will include: 

  • Are Group 1 and Group 2 herbicides obsolete? 
  • Winter pea rotations: pest, pathogen, & weed control 
  • Fungicide applications in winter wheat
  • Post-harvest nitrogen analysis & nutrient management
  • Diagnosing & managing diseases of wheat

We have requested 4 pesticide credits for WSDA and ODA (pending), and 5 CEU credits for Crop Advisers (pending).
