WSU Hosts 2023 Weed Science Field Tour on Wednesday, June 14

Join Dr. Drew Lyon and Dr. Ian Burke for the 2023 WSU Weed Science Field Tour from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14 at the R.J. Cook Agronomy Farm in Pullman, Washington. Onsite registration for the tour begins at 1:00 p.m. at the adjacent Plant Pathology Building.

The tour will include discussions led by Drs. Burke and Lyon on weed management practices as well as other topics such as:

  • Broadleaf weed control in winter wheat
  • Italian ryegrass control in spring canola
  • Italian ryegrass control in spring pulses and winter pea
  • Harvest weed seed control

Water and soda will be provided throughout the tour. A lightly catered social hour will be held after the tour at the R.J. Cook Agronomy Farm.

Washington and Idaho pesticide recertification credits have been approved.
