Introducing the Weeders of the West Blog

Italian Ryegrass.

I have been wanting to try my hand at blogging for some time now, but the time investment required has always deterred me. I recently decided to invite my weed science colleagues from the Pacific Northwest to join me in this effort. To my delight, all accepted my invitation to share their knowledge and experience on weeds and weed management with you. We will be posting a new blog every other week. I hope you enjoy the blog! The new Weeders of the West blog has been added as an extension of the Wheat and Small Grains website to provide growers and industry professionals in the Pacific Northwest with another resource to help them manage weeds. Weed Scientists and County Extension Specialists from Washington State University, Oregon State University, and the University of Idaho will contribute posts to the blog. You can expect a new blog post every other week. The authors will monitor their post for comments for two weeks and post selected comments and their responses. Subscribe to our listserv so you never miss a post! (This is a double opt-in process) Our first blog post will be up during the week of March 9th-13th!

Other related resources include the Weed Resources page as well as the Herbicide Resistance Resources page, WSU Wheat Beat Podcast episodes discussing weeds, and weed decision tools and calculators.
