Join Drew Lyon and Ian Burke for the 2018 Weed Science Field Tour from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at the R.J. Cook Agronomy Farm near Pullman. Registration is free and will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Plant Pathology Building
adjacent to the Cook Farm. Plot tours will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The tour will include discussions led by Drs. Ian Burke and Drew Lyon on weed management practices as well as water and soda throughout the tour and a lightly catered social hour after the tour.
Some of the topics to be covered include:
- Broadleaf Weed Control in Winter Wheat
- The CoAXium Wheat Production System
- Italian Ryegrass Control in Winter Wheat
- Weed Control in Spring Wheat
- LTAR (Long-Term Agroecosystem Research) at WSU
Washington and Idaho pesticide re-certification credits have been approved.
